Personal data collected

Traveldoctor.ch collects the following data:

  • First and last name
  • Phone number
  • E-mail address
  • Postal address
  • Date of birth
  • Medical history and health data (anamnesis)
  • Travel details
  • Vaccination record

Purposes of collection

This data is used exclusively to:

  • Provide appropriate, personalized medical consultations
  • Manage appointments (for example to contact you again if no slot suits you)
  • Communicate with you effectively

Confidentiality and sharing

Your personal data is confidential. It is shared with third parties only where strictly necessary for your medical care or appointment management, or where the law requires it.

Traveldoctor.ch uses OneDoc and Calendly for online appointment booking. Data entered when booking may be stored on these providers' servers; they act as processors, in accordance with GDPR standards and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).

Data location

  • Medical data (anamnesis, health history, vaccination record, etc.) is stored exclusively in Switzerland or in the European Union, in countries applying protection standards equivalent to those required by the FADP and GDPR. It is never stored outside the European Union.
  • Non-medical personal data (name, e-mail, phone, etc.) may be stored on servers located outside the European Union, notably via certain tools such as Calendly. Traveldoctor.ch ensures that these providers apply adequate security and compliance measures.

Rights of access, rectification and deletion

You may at any time request access to, rectification of or deletion of your personal data by sending an e-mail to privacy@traveldoctor.ch.

Security

Your personal data is protected by appropriate technical and organizational measures to guarantee its confidentiality, integrity and availability.

Third-party services

In addition to OneDoc and Calendly, other technical providers may be used for data collection or processing (e.g. medical questionnaires). All providers are carefully selected and must comply with strict contractual commitments regarding security, confidentiality and legal compliance.
